Powerscreen of Canada Celebrates Golden Milestone!

Powerscreen®, a global leader in mobile crushing, screening and conveying equipment, proudly congratulates Powerscreen of Canada on its 50th anniversary. Since its founding in 1975, Powerscreen of Canada has been a cornerstone of the materials processing industry, delivering high-quality equipment, exceptional service, and innovative solutions to customers across the country.

For half a century, Powerscreen of Canada has played a pivotal role in advancing the aggregates, recycling, and mining sectors. Through its unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, technical expertise, and cutting-edge technology, the company has solidified its reputation as a trusted partner in the industry.

“Reaching 50 years in business is a tremendous achievement, and we are incredibly proud of the entire team at Powerscreen of Canada,” said Sean Loughran, Powerscreen Business Line Director and General Manager. “The Farmer family are well known and respected on the global crushing and screening stage. As one of our original and longest serving dealers, they have become synonymous with the Powerscreen brand, embodying our values of innovation, quality and customer support.

Powerscreen of Canada’s journey has been marked by continuous growth, strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and an ongoing pursuit of excellence. As the company looks to the future, it remains committed to providing industry-leading equipment and service to support evolving customer needs.

In a statement, Powerscreen of Canada said “We are honoured to be celebrating this milestone. Little did we realize, when we started out in the 1970s marketing the small but highly efficient MKI Screening Plant to an industry struggling with fine, wet, and sticky aggregate materials, that this would become our springboard into a business that would grow into the much larger Powerscreen range—encompassing crushing, screening, washing, and recycling equipment.

It is indeed a reflection of the hard work, efforts and resilience of our employees and not forgetting the close relationships and trust we have with our customers, who make this all possible. As the saying goes, from small acorns, big oak trees grow.”

To mark the occasion, Brian Farmer made a special visit to loyal Powerscreen customer and longtime friend, who is the proud owner of an original 1974 screening plant that is still operational today!

Powerscreen extends its heartfelt congratulations to Powerscreen Canada on this remarkable achievement and looks forward to the next 50 years of innovation and success.
